Keyup Brook Watershed

Due to ongoing issues with flooding and minor pollution, some studies are being done on the watershed of Keyup Brook. Grant funding is being pursued by our colleagues at Franklin Regional Council of Government to further identify issues and potential remediation.

2023 Keyup Book Watershed Based Plan

Improving water quality and flood resilience requires looking at the whole watershed. The Keyup Brook Watershed Based Plan, which covers the watershed area of Keyup Brook and Jacks Brooks from Northfield into Erving Center village, is now available  for public review and comment through the end of November. Having an approved Watershed Based Plan qualifies the Town for nonpoint source pollution grant and helps with other funding opportunities for flood resilience.
