2022 Heron Sculpture Celebration

On August 30, 2022 the Town of Erving celebrated the arrival of the sculpture Hybrid Heron by artist Jon Bander of NotoriousWeld. Funding by a $10,000 municipal grant from FirstLight Power, the sculpture is made of reused metal materials, some of which was salvaged from the Northfield Mountain hydro battery facility.
