State Ethics Training

While you may have previously taken the online test less than two years ago, we are asking that everyone take the NEW training in 2023 through the new system.

Accessing the new online State Ethics Commission training for the 1st time:

1. Log into https://massethicstraining.skillburst.com 
2. Click "Create Your Account"
3. Enter your name and email address (we recommend using your Town provided email address)
4. Select:  "Erving" from the list
5. You will then receive an email to create a login
6. Once you log in, you will see 2 (two) courses assigned to you; conflict of interest training and the code of ethics acknowledgment for municipal employees.
7. You need to complete both, but you do not need to print anything.

Upon completion of your training, the Town Clerk's Office will receive notification that it has been completed and will be able to access the summary receipt and training certificate. The online training will take about one (1) hour. You should be able to stop mid-training and resume at another time if necessary. Do not forget to click on the "acknowledgement" as well. Once completed no further action is necessary.

You will receive an email confirming completion as well as the certificate should you choose to print it for your records.
