The Town of Erving would like to inform residents that the project to reconstruct the retaining wall on Bridge Street, along with storm water management, and the milling and repaving of Maple Avenue, has been awarded to A. Martin and Sons Construction, Inc.  The Contractor has been given a notice to proceed as of April 15, 2024.

The project period can last up to 120 days.  Residents will begin to see sediment control and signage installed around the start date.  Most of the initial activity is anticipated to be conducted on Bridge Street. During the project period, Bridge Street will be closed to traffic. The Town of Wendell has been notified.

The work on Maple Avenue primarily includes milling and repaving the street as it is today. One storm water structure is currently planned for replacement. As this work proceeds there may be limited access in and out of the project areas. The Contractor and the Erving Highway Department will work with you to ensure all disruptions are kept to a minimum during this time. Full access for all residents will be restored by late afternoon/early evening throughout this period.
