06/30/20 Notice Of Public Hearing: Installation of Utility Pole

Notice is hereby given as per MGL Chapter 166, Section 22 that the Select Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed installation of a utility pole, belonging to Eversource Energy and Verizon New England, Inc. on Old State Road, Erving, MA 01344, as described below:

Request permission to locate a line of poles, wires, cables and fixtures, including the necessary sustaining and protecting fixtures to be owned and used in common by your petitioners, along and across the following public way:

Old State Road: Install new joint owned midspan pole 5/E1 18’ north of centerline of Old State Road and 111’ west of the centerline of 143 Old State Road driveway.

Reason: to extend service to re-feed #143

The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 6:45 p.m.  The hearing will occur using an online audio/video conferencing platform in accordance with Governor Baker’s executive order relating to the COVID-19 State of Emergency.  Public participation will be allowed using the following URL: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/8693331973663971084  Webinar ID: 348-014-363.

 A copy of the proposed pole location is available inspection at the Select Board’s Office or by request sent via email to administrator@erving-ma.gov.
