Join us for an informal meet and greet with local Erving artist Kenneth E. Zilisch.
Kenneth E. Zilisch has been painting all his life (so far). Even from his Wisconsin farm beginnings he knew he would be an artist; he created his first commission at age twelve. His
creative passion led him to Layton School of Art and Design in Milwaukee, where he studied graphic design and graduated with honors.
His interest and potential in fine art developed during the 1970's and 80's, when he had the privilege of observing and painting alongside the artists of Door County, Wisconsin and later the
artists of Mt. Washington Valley in NH. He and his wife, Carol, have since settled in Erving, MA. Ken enjoys the challenge of a variety of media, including pastels, woodcuts, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, pen and ink. His work has received both regional and national awards.
Ken is available for commissioned works of people, places, and pets.
