Route 63 Streetscape & Pedestrian Improvement Project Update- August 23, 2019

Over the last 2 months a significant portion of the Route 63 Streetscape & Pedestrian Improvement Project has been completed along Moore Street and Northfield Road.  As we look out over the next month, C & A Construction has provided the following general timeline for next project steps:

• The week of August 26, 2019 and September 2, 2019 will be spent working on the installation of the forced sewer main on Northfield Road, grading the slope, and the installation of sidewalks & guardrails in the location of the Elementary School and Care Drive.
• During the week of September 9, 2019 C & A Construction will be placing berm, finish blacktop, and loam/seed in the project area from Care Drive to the railroad tracks.  This will allow the C & A to button everything up that has been worked on.
• The week of September 16, 2019 and September 23, 2019 C & A construction expects to begin working in the area of the railroad tracks and will continue to work down Lester Street towards River Street.
