State of Emergency Update – July 21, 2021

Repair work continues throughout the Town of Erving. MassDOT has continued to work on the State-owned layout while the Town has worked on the municipal roadways.
At this time, Kavanaugh Lane and North Street have been reopened for through traffic. Please note that North Street has been reduced to a single lane of traffic near Swamp Road with stop signs and alternating traffic. Please follow all posted traffic signage.
Additionally, Swamp Road Bridge remains closed and both Poplar Mountain Road and Wheelock Streets remain limited to local traffic only.
