Bridge Street Temporary Closure

The Highway Department is working with engineers from Weston & Sampson on the reconstruction plans for Bridge Street and the retaining wall that supports the Street in Farley.  The engineering and permitting work is expected to continue through the fall and winter with an anticipated final design for bidding in the spring of 2023.  In order to complete the engineering work we need to schedule 2 days of soil borings in the layout.  

With that said, Bridge Street is scheduled to be closed on August 17, 2022 and August 18, 2022 to allow the soil boring rig to be setup and to conduct the work.  These dates are weather dependent and may have to be adjusted.  During this time, through traffic will not be allowed.
