Annual Town Meeting 2020
The State of Emergency related to COVID-19 has had an impact on the Annual Town Meeting for the Town of Erving.
Originally postponed by the Board of Selectmen to June 17, 2020 the Annual Town Meeting was later recessed and continued by the Town Moderator until Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 10:00 AM and will occur at the Erving Elementary School, 28 Northfield Road, Erving, MA 01344. Town Meeting Participation Guidance
The Annual Town Meeting is scheduled to occur outside under a tent in accordance with the Executive Orders issued by Governor Baker, therefore the following provisions will be in place:
- a face covering will be required
- hand sanitizer will be available for use
- social distancing will be required. Chairs will be set in a designated place. Individuals that cohabit can choose to sit closer together.
- the Town has secured the services of a sound company to ensure voters can here questions asked and answered.
